An independent salon, built our way.
Salon Moony is a female-owned, independent salon that's been part of the neighborhood for years, sitting right in the sweet spot between Capitol Hill and the Central District. It's a quaint space with parking that's easier to find than most of the area. Come as you are: we welcome absolutely everyone.
How we got here
Real chairs, real independence.
Our owner works right here in the salon alongside our stylists, each of whom runs their own book, their own color line, and their own pricing. No corporate script, no quota, no one telling anyone how to cut hair. Just independent stylists building their own businesses under one roof, using high-end Davines products (a certified B Corp) that we're proud to carry and use.
The mural is the first thing most people notice. It's hand-painted right on our walls, and it's become as much a part of the brand as our name, much like Salon Moony itself has become a staple of this stretch of 18th Ave. You'll see pieces of the mural show up throughout this site, on our business cards, and around the salon itself.

Book directly with them
Every stylist has their own booking page and calendar, so you're booking directly with the person doing your hair.
